12:56 pm	a wonderous occasion that is the pit Last night was the most AMAZINGAWESOMEO night ,1st off I bought a Finest dispoable camera for $6.79USD (roughly3.00 British Sterling Pounds).Made my way up to Branchville to pick up a friend ,drove to the wonderful B&A Warehouse on 1stN and 16th ,waited 2 hours in the freezing ass cold !!! IN the duration of the wait I got to meet Mike Mc Colgan (ex lead singer for the Dropkick Murphys) in which he complemented me on my 2004 World Series Champions BOSTON RED SOX hat. Well the doors opened around 8:15 or so we all filed in the lobby my friend Mary and I made our way over to some friends of mine in which we talked to for a few moments .Around 8:45 they started to corral all of us in to the auditorium ,my friend and I positoned ourselves 8 feet from the huge stackes of speakers ( I still have partial hearing loss ) the 1st band came on Th Backyard Babies all the way from Stockholm Sveeden . Well they blistered thru their set . Then it was the moment we all were waiting for SOCIAL DISTORTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mike Ness and the guys blew out with " Reach for the Sky"(my fave song) the pit erupted with violent fury ,in this fury I was separated from Mary I being pushed this way and she being pushed that way . Well the show continued with such furiousity that I stayed in the pit for almost the whole show skanking this way and that ."1945" was another high point for me (another fave song) I wrecked until I was exhausted .The emotional high point was " Don't take me for Granted" (a ode for deceased guitarist Dennis Danell R.I.P.) .But still spirits were at a apex . Well the guys finished up the last song (99 to life) .... Well what the fuck would it be without a encore??? Well after crowd response the boys came back and flew thru "Ring of Fire" during this it I preceded to go "motherfuckerasshole" crazy at one point almost losing my right shoe This will live in my mind forever as the greatest concert of my life .And concerning the violence displayed in the pit in the words of Black Flag/Circle Jerks frontman Keith Morris" You say that the mosh pit is violent! It is violent but its more about self expression " numerous people fell during the course of the night and never ceased to amaze me that the pit DID stop and the people were quickly picked up (me do some picking also ) Sure people will never fully understand the punk ,But it certainly gives them no right to wrongly judge a person by his or her hair,belt ,jacket, taste in music,skin color ,spiked dog collar necklace ect ect If I wanna look like a Goddamned fool with a pompadour that frightens small children then so be it , Fuck you if you dont like it .I hope this has been an insightful journey thru my Wednesday night 9th of March ....
